About the role

Hours: 2pm - 10pm (Monday -Friday)
PayRate: $20.00-$21.00\hr
Position Overview
The Warehouse Savvy Person is responsible for performing various warehouse related activities as they are assigned, within the standards and quality guidelines established, throughout the distribution of environment. The position also requires availability for cross training opportunities both internal and external to department assignment. The Warehouse Person I position is accountable for ensuring that all workplace activities are in line with company goals.
Essential Functions
· Achieve assigned daily production targets including quantity, quality, and timeliness following completion of training.
· Maintain adherence to all policies, processes and procedures daily.
· Transport products to and from different areas of the facility by various methods assigned,
· Prepare and label products for shipment per work instructions.
· Pick product from inventory location following established procedures.
· Stage product for incorporation on conveyor or remove from conveyor and process accordingly
· Operate powered lift and material handling equipment safely and efficiently (following training and certification)
· Other duties as assigned.
Education
· High School Diploma or GED
Experience
· Basic computer knowledge preferred.
· Must demonstrate reliability in meeting productivity, quality, and attendance standards
· Ability and willingness to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
· Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Skills
· Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
· Ability to take directives and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Work Environment & Physical Demands
· Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
· Repetitive walking, standing, bending, reaching, pulling, and climbing on concrete floors throughout the workday.
· Must have strong hand-eye coordination and be able to use handheld scanning equipment.
· Must possess adequate vision (close, distance peripheral, and ability to adjust focus) and be able to work on CRT/computer screens.
· Noise levels may be higher due to conveyor and equipment usage.
· Must be able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing.
Ø Must Have a Valid Driver License
