Interview Tips

Simple tips from our team to help you walk in confident and walk out working.

What to expect at Sourced Staffing

Meeting with us is quick and friendly. Our team will talk with you about your work history, the shifts you can work, how you get to work, and the kind of jobs you want. Fill out our online application (Apply Now on the Employees page), or complete it at your local office. Bring unexpired proof of identity and eligibility to work in the U.S. We’ll finish your paperwork and match you with openings that fit.

Before you come in

What to bring

  • Unexpired proof of identity and eligibility to work in the U.S., such as a driver’s license or state identification card plus a Social Security card or birth certificate. An unexpired passport works on its own.

  • A pen and a phone with a working voicemail.

  • A resume if you have one. No resume? No problem. We can help.

Talk about the skills that matter

  • Forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment experience and certifications.

  • Picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or assembly work.

  • Standing for a full shift and lifting what the job requires.

  • Following safety rules and keeping a clean work area.

What happens at your visit

  • Plan on 1 to 2 hours. Come in between 9 AM and 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with unexpired proof of identity and eligibility to work in the U.S. You’re welcome to complete your application in the office. We’ll finish your paperwork.

  • Sit down with our team to talk about jobs and shifts.

  • Some jobs may require a drug screen or background check.

During the interview

  • Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early.

  • Put your phone on silent and away.

  • Be honest about your availability and experience.

  • Show you are dependable. Showing up on time is one of the top things employers look for.

  • Ask questions about the shift, pay, start date, and safety gear.

Practice these questions

  • Can you work any shift? Be honest and name every shift you can cover.

  • Can you lift what the job requires? Say yes only if you can do it all shift, safely.

  • Tell me about a time you worked on a team. Share one short, real example.

  • When can you start? Tell us the soonest day you can start.

No experience? No problem.

First-time workers are welcome. Let us know you’re reliable, you learn fast, and you’re open to any shift. Those count for a lot.

After the interview
